I had the same problem The wireless switch previously worked just fine. When windows is booting up, press the wireless switch (orange light). And as a work-around, they've disabled lan/wlan. I just upgraded my 64 bit HP Pavilion g7 nr to windows 8. now, whenever i try to use the wireless button (Fn + F12) it changes the airplane.
